NewDay Africa is working in partnership with Boona Baana Organization, a Tanzanian based NGO, to construct a new orphanage. Sharp increases in rent have forced Boona Baana’s Green Door Home for orphaned children to find a new location. An affordable property near the Indian Ocean was recently purchased in Dar es Salaam’s Kigamboni suburb. This beautiful piece of land is the future site of Green Door Home. NewDay Africa will support Boona Baana as they relocate and rebuild the Green Door Home for orphaned children. NewDay Africa works with Mwangaza Foundation (MF) to provide education, medical care, nutritional support, and school uniforms to orphans in Songea, Tanzania. Mwangaza Foundation (MF)'s primary focus is orphaned children living with extended family members. Together, NewDay Africa and Mwangaza Foundation (MF) enable orphaned children to remain in the care of their own family.
