FIMA is a Canada and Kenya registered NGO dedicated to improving access to health care in impoverished communities in Kenya. FIMA currently provides health care to remote areas via mobile clinics, which are run by volunteers from around the world. Volunteers are professionals and students trained in naturopathic and alternative medicine, allopathic medicine, and psychotherapy. FIMA delivers integrated health services and education, by combining conventional medical wisdom with affordable methods of alternative medicine modalities such as acupuncture, homeopathy, phytotherapy, whole foods nutrition, and counseling. Anamed Organization is a Germany based NGO that conducts traditional medicine training programs in Africa. Anamed believes that traditional medicine empowers and enables individuals and communities to become more self reliant in preventing and treating the most common diseases and health complaints.
